onePT is a unique new personal training and fitness company which will potentially create hundreds of jobs in the region and throughout the UK. The 5000 sq foot gym will offer members unlimited access to its premium equipment along with a private PT session, unlimited group PT sessions, nutritional guidance and constant tracking and mentoring. The onePT business includes the onePT Training Academy and a complete franchise model, which will roll out from this, the flagship gym, from March.
The onePT concept is being spearheaded by Dr Neil Fell PhD, the former manager of the Sports Medicine and Human Performance Facility at St George’s Park (the training home of the England Football teams), in conjunction with onePT Academy Director, PT and fitness education professional, Phill Wright. The onePT facility has been designed and equipped in strategic partnership with Darren Golden, MD of world-leading sports equipment company Exigo-UK.
An opening event on 6th January will give people the chance to get free health advice for the New Year, while meeting internationally renowned health & fitness professionals. It will also give visitors the chance to win free memberships as well as a range of fantastic prizes donated by nutritional partners. The gym will be officially opened by the Mayor of Rochdale, Councillor Ian Duckworth, and Piers Linney, former star of Dragon’s Den and recently appointed Non-Exec Director of British Business Bank.
Says Neil, “We will offer customers a complete health and fitness programme, including ongoing assessment, nutritional support, group and individual exercise and the latest fitness technologies, to create a truly bespoke experience for each and every one of our valued clients. We are so excited to announce the launch of franchise opportunities for the onePT concept, with a number of locations already in the pipeline for 2018.”
Adds Phill: “The opening event on 6th January is the perfect date for people to start their health and fitness journey after the festive season. We will open the doors at 12pm to give access to some of the UK’s leading sports and fitness authorities, free healthy food and drink, advice from nutritionists and the chance to win some fantastic prizes - including free memberships!”
Concludes Darren: “This is the most exciting project we have been involved in over our 22 years of operation as a leading facility design and equipment manufacturer, both in the UK and overseas.”
