Sharks extends iPro Sport partnership until 2020

Deal with sports drinks provider to continue after successful initial two-year agreement

Sharks extends iPro Sport partnership until 2020

Sale Sharks has extended its partnership with hydration experts iPro Sport for a further three years - after the huge success of an initial two-year deal.

The Sharks first team squad has used almost 5,000 bottles of the hydration drinks every season since 2016. The new deal will see iPro Sport work closely with the Performance Team and the players until 2020.

“Sale Sharks continue to be a real pleasure to work with and we are delighted to have extended our hydration partnership for the next three seasons,” said Sophie Christy, Commercial Director for iPro Sport.

“The Performance Team and the players at the club are constantly striving for improvement and we will continue to work in collaboration providing hydration solutions that help deliver performance benefits.”

Available in three thirst-quenching flavours, iPro Sport is naturally sweetened with Stevia, free from artificial flavours, colours, sweeteners and contains added vitamins such as B5, B6, B7 and B12 as well as Vitamin C.

With less than 3g of sugar per serving, iPro Sport is the perfect hydration solution to replenish the body with the essential minerals lost through sweat.

“We are thrilled that this partnership is continuing,” said Mark Cueto, Sharks’ Commercial Director.

“The players really put the work in, especially during pre-season, and they need a drink that provides them with the rehydration that will keep them going.

“iPro Sport drinks really are unique in the market, and since we launched the partnership they have been a great addition to our training at Sharks. We have been, and continue to be, impressed by iPro Sport and the quality of the products.”
